St. Johns open their Summer Division 2 capaign with a cofidence boosting 3-1 win over the much-fancied Hasbro. Debutant Ben Thomas grabbed two goals and prolific goalscorer Nick Henderson grabbed the other.

It has been confirmed that ex-manager Dean Lynch has made an approach to take talented striker Lee Meredith to his new team. The as yet un-named team already has ex-Johns Lynch, Gareth Debnam and Thomas Fullard.

The Super J's boost their transfer ravaged squad with the signing of Academy boy Ben Thomas. It is thought the Johns now have a feared midfield.
